Martin Wolters was born in 1971 and holds a masters degree (Dipl-Ing.) in Electrical Engineering from Aachen University of Technology (RWTH Aachen) as well as an MBA from the GSO Management Institute in Nuremberg, Germany. He started his career as a Research and Development Engineer in the field of audio signal processing while working for Fraunhofer Gesellschaft (Erlangen, Germany), Telos Systems (Cleveland, Ohio) and Creative Advanced Technology Center (Scotts Valley, CA).
Coordinating research projects at Creative ATC was his first encounter with management. Martin joined Coding Technologies (Nuremberg, Germany) in 2003 and was responsible for coordinating its customer support activities, setting up a dedicated customer support group and introducing a CRM system. Since 2005, he has also been responsible for coordinating operational matters including the HR activities of the company.
In 2007 Coding Technologies was acquired by Dolby Laboratories, Inc. Since then Martin is managing the engineering team in Nuremberg as Director, Licensing Engineering.
